Rod started with Stolberg in 1968. Starting as a tradesman, he progressed to Foreman, General Foreman and then Superintendent. In 1975, after completing the construction of BCFP's "C" Mill in Mackenzie, he became Manager of our Prince George Office. Rod was involved with all facets of construction management including:

estimating and cost control,
scheduling, procurement and client liaison.
Conceptual development and equipment layout.
Analyzing and troubleshooting existing operations.
Providing practical constructability input into the detailed engineering drawings.
Rod advanced to Vice President – Project Planning & Development and, became actively involved with all of our projects from conceptual design through detailed engineering, construction and start-up. Rod is actively involved in all our Projects.
